About Alan:

Alan Lynch is an accomplished piano technician and musician with extensive experience in piano and organ maintenance. A member of the Piano Technicians Guild, Alan grew up in northern New Jersey and pursued an undergraduate degree in music education from Rutgers University, followed by a Master of Music in Organ Performance from Syracuse University. He has played concerts in prestigious venues, including Princeton University, and has built a solid reputation as a skilled piano technician.

Alan is a graduate of the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology and is certified with the Piano Technician Academy. He completed a rebuilding apprenticeship under Chuck Behm in Boone, Iowa, which deepened his expertise in restoring pianos to their optimal condition. As a Certified Piano Life Saver System installer and a PianoDisc installer, Alan combines technical precision with a commitment to quality, previously owning a successful piano and organ maintenance company in Syracuse, NY.

Outside of his professional life, Alan holds a private pilot’s license and owns a 1979 Piper Arrow, affectionately named Pierre. An avid Fortnite player, he enjoys balancing the demands of his career with a mix of high-altitude adventures and competitive gaming.
